The Earth without art is "Eh"

This year was the first year i was able to take an art class, know it was going to challenge me i jumped right in. through out the year i head to learn how to use patience and that good things come for those who wait. my favorite art piece was drawing myself, thinking that i would have the easiest time doing it, it actually turned out a little like me! I enjoyed it because i was able to use colors and i learned a lot about shading and i was able to put a twist on my very own picture. I also enjoyed making my plate, bowl, and cup. Even though it was a challenge to use the clay i loved watching what it would turn out to be when it was out of the giant heat. I learned a lot in this art class, and yes it can be hard at times but if i put my heart into it i will succeed.

This is a photo of the collage that represents us. I have half of it covered in black lace to show that there is always darkness in life but there is always that bright like that overcomes it and that is represented with the gold painted doily. There are also flowers in there because I love flowers and a bow that I made with a ribbon that was connected to a shirt to represent my love for fashion.
This is a photo of the metals I am working with it took me a while to complete the drawing and I am still not happy with the final outcome but hopefully when I work with the texture of the metal I can learn about liking it more to what it has become. the sawing part is difficult and a huge challenge to not get mad when you tiny saw breaks in two while you are in the middle of cutting the metal but it is a satisfaction when you have cut a full piece and you are one step closer to becoming finished.
This is a sample picture I drew of myself. I learned a lot about colors, how to shade them and make them gradually become lighter or darker. I also learned about black ink. It was difficult because one side of my face was completely white and the other was pitch black so it was hard to conform those colors together and someone in the middle make them conjoin but I did it and the ending i was very proud of I enjoyed my work a lot!

Andy Warhol
I enjoy the artist Andy Warhol for many different reasons. One would be the fact that he has such simple pictures like a can of Campbell’s soup and cartoonalizes it, my favorite would have to be his work of Marilyn Monroe I’ve always loved Marilyn and seeing the pictures he has done of her is beautiful and I enjoy it very much.
Andy Warhol (1928-1927) originally named Andrew Warhola born in Pittsburg his father was in construction who died in an accident when he was 13 years old. Andy showed interest by drawling and painting and finally enrolling in Carnegie Institute of Technology in Pittsburgh where he studied commercial art. Finally graduating in 1949 he went to new York where he became an illustrator for magazines like Vouge and Bazaar
I love this photo because it shows Andy's classic Pop art that he is know for and it is of one of my favorite people. It somewhat shows her beauty in a different way of colors that pop out.
I also enjoy this photo by Andy because it shows his pop art and it is something so simple yet he makes it a 3D sort of look and even though you think you need glasses because your eyes start to hurt when you look at it, you just cant look away.
Something that interests me about Andy Warhol is Andy almost died when he was shot three times in the chest by Valerie Solanis. Valerie said that Andy Warhol had too much control over her life. Also Andy was a homosexual yet he was a religious man
