I was sick and wasnt able to make it to school today so I could not work on my self-portrait but i have been working on my technology drawing hopefully later tonight I will have a photo up to show my progress.

Past few days I have been working on drawing and painting a self portrait of me. It has been challenging but I have been learning a lot about shades of colors and how they gradually become lighter and darker, it has been a lot of fun. Soon enough I will ink my paper so it becomes dark and very beautiful, cross your fingers it turns out well!

I'm not really sure what to write on this but lets start off at this is my first year in an art class. It's different I'm used to painting on my walls in my bedroom at my own time and speed now I am crammed into this schedule, It is a delightful challenge though. Currently I am working on a book of my own work that has to do with colorful creations and imagination, different techniques including water drippings, color dye, and salt. This year in art class will open my mind to many new things and I can't wait.
